Did you ever have a site about baseball?
Yes, a couple.
One, which is still mounted, although not maintained, is Right Down the Middle for a Ball. This was a site I created for the Franklin Institute several years ago.
Prior to that, I had a scorecard site when I was at the apartment. This was circa 1998-2001. I began posting scorecards there. There wasn’t much going on with that site, but it did act as a test site.
There had been a version of The Scorecard previously on a different domain I hosted. The Scorecard was originally begun in May of 2004. It basically served as a test site for me. Just after I went live with the site in July 2004, the domain went dark. That had nothing to do with The Scorecard, but it did bring it down.
Another version The Scorecard was begun on 21 November 2004. It went live in January 2005. After some long considerations, I folded the scoring stuff into this blog for maintenance issues. And it does add to the eclecticness of this place.
