“Out-Conservative Each Other”
What happened to newspapers reporting facts? The Press of Atlantic City, Peter McAleer, and his editor each have me wondering what out-conservative means.
In their final debate before Election Day, Republican state Sen. Nicholas Asselta and Democratic Assemblyman Jeff Van Drew tried to out-conservative each other on taxes, immigration and gay marriage.
Perhaps McAleer’s term will prove to be trendy and I’ll be the traditionalist on the sideline shaking my head. I just cannot fathom that this passed an editor’s eyes and was published.
Nevertheless, the thought of Jeff “I Sponsor Every Bill” Van Drew trying to pass for a conservative is funny. The Real Van Drew is quite a different fellow.

Thank you for that “reasoned” opinion.
A few quick thoughts . . .
1. You should read some of the blogs I have read in the past. You would have a different opinion, I am sure.
2. An opinion without any supporting facts/evidence doesn’t really hold much weight.
3. Using bandwidth owned by the taxpayers of New Jersey to post such “insight” on a personal blog that rails against wasteful government spending is the epitome of ironic.
