One of the places I really enjoy is the Head of the River church. This church is right at the bend in Rt. 49 at County Road 666. Apropos, methinks. This is in South Jersey. This church dates backs several hundred years. There is still an annual meeting each October. The cemetery houses many of those who were once prominent in the area. I know the folks who live at the intersection here. I usually stop at least briefly each time I drive by.

This morning Beetle and I returned here to look at the outhouses. There is a two-seater right near the road where the geocache is located. There are two other two-seaters at the back of the cemetery on the other side of the church. Those were “cocky-dirty” as Beetle said.

We enjoyed walking around the cemetery looking at the old headstones. We were able to log two other scavenger hunts while here.
