Pimping
. . . or much ado about nothing.
David Shuster on MSNBC’s Tucker stated the Clinton’s had “pimped out” their daughter Chelsea by having her make telephone calls for the campaign.
Chelsea is no longer the awkward teenager of braces and freckles. Miss Clinton is a 27-year-old woman who has taken an active role in her mother’s presidential campaign.
I know nothing of Mr. Shuster or his politics. Yet, I think his comment about Miss Clinton is a fine observation. The use of “pimped out” is common these days. The connotation is that they are using her daughter, not that she is a sexual whore.
