I have been musing over this one since the beginning. I am not aware of this phenomenon in New Jersey. I referred to the original listing for this hunt and recorded the coordinates for the nearest one logged there. It was in southwest Delaware, which is not an area I cache much these days. Over the course of the three-plus years this hunt has been listed, I have not logged that one, despite having been in the area a few times.
I do visit Montgomery Village, MD regularly. Each time I am there I drive by this golf course and keep telling myself to stop and photograph this. I finally did today.
Fritz and I took off early today for a few hunts while everyone else prepared for the day.
This is the Montgomery Village Golf Course. It is a private course, but this is fully visible from Montgomery Avenue. These letters are between the third and 11th tees.
