Independence Hall:Birthplace of the United States

The Boys Are Back in Town Tour continued as we hit Independence Hall. This is a familiar spot, but it is the first time Fritz has been here. I had flashbacks to pushing my father through the city when it came time to approach the Commodore. There are about six steps to get up. Fritz liked the ride.
Just a tidbit of information . . . 13 September is Commodore John Barry Day in New Jersey. As such, the legislation and governor have mandated that every public school teacher teach about Barry.
Anyhoo, we had a wonderful time visiting. Fritz listened intently to the lesson I shared with him. It’s summer so I did not make him take a test. ![]()
