Oh’ Deer Me

While I was hunting a terracache recently I spotted many white-tail deer. The location of this one wasn’t anywhere near the cache. Instead of walking down the paved road, I took to the trails to explore. I spotted this young deer almost immediately.
It must be used to humans as it stood there for some time. Even as I stepped closer, it stood beautifully for the photographs.
I remember the first deer I spotted while caching. This is one of those things that really makes caching for me. I was a beach bum growing up. Woodsy wildlife amazes me. I always enjoy seeing deer on the trail.
