Kill the Bailout
I do not usually call my representatives. Today I did. I shared with Rep. Frank LoBiondo that I want him to vote against any taxpayer dollars spent on correcting this financial mess. What LoBiondo will do, I don’t know. I will keep a careful watch, however.
After the call, I must say I have a great sense of patriotism. This is how democracy is suppose to work. An issue is debated, citizens are empowered and we let our voices be heard via our representatives. It’s a glorious thing.
Stepping back from the vitriol that some politicians express (I’m talking of you, Sen. Schumer) and appreciating the greatest society working is a marvelous thing. I am in complete agreement with BM on this; let free markets work themselves out.
