Frog Hollow

Frog Hollow was the nickname of the neighborhood in which I grew up. The corner of Kearney and Jefferson in Cape May was the lowest in town. Back when I was a boy, the drainage system was not very good. Each time it rained, it flooded. Our lawn was a mere seven feet above sea level. We had lots of practice wading to the front door. On more than one occasion Mr. McNamara picked me up from school in the Civil Defense truck and carried me to the front stoop.

It’s been a while since I have lived there, but I resurrected Frog Hollow today. After missing the FedEx man by 20 minutes on Saturday, he returned (at the same exact time, interestingly enough) today and delivered Frog Hollow, my new laptop.

Woo hoo! It’s nice to have a new computer.
