Customer Service

In a momentary lack of focus, I re-upped with TC.com last November. Soon after that poor decision slapped me in the face. Trying to build an add-on to the site, which we were encouraged to do, I was essentially told I do not matter. I laid low for six months as one after another of the big time players left.

I played a little this summer and generally kept to myself. In doing so I ended up on the Delaware leaderboard and extended my membership for free because of it. That ran out eight days ago.

Nine days ago I sent AK a message explaining the forced move and how links to my ~500 logs are now broken. I asked him if he would search and replace ladow.net with rdowens.net. No, I have not heard from him nor has the task been completed.

I am no programmer but I have been able to do both requests that I asked the site to do. I created the Neverending Scavenger Hunt search pages that TC.com does not offer. I just do not know if I have missed any as I had to manually cull the data. I asked for a list of all locationless listings in text form as they had been provided in 2005. In over a year, no time to export that list could be found.

Apparently, no time could be found to run the SQL command for search and replace that takes a split second (literally) to run.

Say what one will, but TC.com has been abandoned. No more dollars from this wallet.
