NJMP Halloween Trick
31 October 2009 @ 18:44 | Posted in » New Jersey, Politics
Thanks to the New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville youngsters were treated to the roar of engines as they enjoyed Halloween today. The whooshing of the engines was so loud that children and parents commented about it.
It does not matter what the ordinance is, the sound from the track is too loud!

As commented on your video, I did not notice one instance during your video that your children noticed the, as you put it, “loud noise.” I can understand that having consistent construction sounds in your neighborhood would be disturbing. However, every video I have seen through your posts or Ms Post’s have not been near comparison. And, as mentioned previously, no decibel meter videos ever show a baseline (i.e. what the level is without the cars/motorbikes running).

I just responded to your comments on You Tube.
My children were not recorded expressing their displeasure with the loud noise. That, however, does not remove the loud noise. It was present.
I am not certain what construction has to do with this. I am not familiar making any such analogy.
I had nothing to do with Ms. Post’s presentation to the City Commission other than recording it . . . as did at least two others. I recorded several other components of that meeting too . . . it’s what I do.
