Dumb Bird
So here I was sitting in the chair when I heard a whoosh and then a loud thud. A rather sizable bird just flew into our window.
No, we don’t have huge plate glass expanses like the silly commercial on television has where the birds fly into it after the wife cleans it with whatever cleaner is being hawked. This is a normal window. I noticed there were several feathers stuck to the window. Ouch!
I went over to check things out. The bird was on the deck not looking too good. Then he stood up and seemed to be shaking things off. Man up! Jolly good. That didn’t last long. The bird toppled as the Grim Reaper did his job.
I am pretty certain nothing was chasing the bird. What would cause it to fly into the window? Ah, another unanswered question that will leave me wondering . . . much like the results of Cumberland County voters.
