Around and around we went to get the proper approach here. What should have been an easy jaunt entered into the “Batona Triangle”, once again providing data to the theory that if I can make something difficult to do, I will succeed.
Eventually, we made it there. That stemmed Beetle’s refrain of “This is boring.” After 4:00 this is more difficult to park nearby. I was there at 4:03. I am such a renegade. Ha!
After this, it was smooth sailing to our nation’s capital.

Beetle and I headed down to DC for the weekend. My little girl fell asleep on the way. I thought I would be able to sneak off to grab this without her knowing. Of course, she awoke wondering if we were close to our destination. “Yes, of course we are, dear.”
Parking was nonexistent for me. After circling a few times I made the executive decision to park illegally and forgo the exact spot for a really nearby spot while keeping an eye on everything. Doing so meant I left the photograph in the Jeep. D’oh!
I recalled the location but not the exact angle. We shall see how well I did here when I click submit.

This was our waitress at J. Paul’s. We dined there as there was no other place. While she was an affable girl, when it came time to open the wine, she was incompetant. So much so that she asked our help. Sigh . . .

My head cleaning weekend worked. I had a wonderful time in Baltimore.
I picked up a shutterspot on the way down, did some caches, ate, saw the sights, and had a good time with my friends. We don’t get together very often, but things went so well that it looks like there will be a sequel next summer.
Despite more logistical issues on the return trip, I remained relaxed and returned rested. Indeed, I cannot do it all. That is fine by me.
