12 of 12 June 2010
Saturday, June 12th, 2010Each month on the twelfth, I photograph my day. I then select 12 photographs that represent my day. This project was conceived by Chad Darnell. It’s taken on a life of its own over the years. Enjoy . . . and better yet, participate next month.
11:27 a.m.

I strolled through Glasstown Plaza enjoying the sights. Liz’s mural is showing its age . . .
12:42 p.m.

Liz and Carl had their Outrageous Art Sale today. Here they are posing with the two pieces I purchased. Both are from East Point. The one Carl painted was what he was working on when I took this photograph.
12:08 p.m.

Needed to pick up something at the mall. There was a police and fire display in the main square. This 1960 Ford Galaxie 500 was on display. Very kewl! Of course, the bit of irony is that this is the exact location of the run-in with the mall rent-a-cops the last time I attempted to take a photograph here. Somehow the real police had no issue . . .
12:28 p.m.

The mall was busy today. As such, I parked an aisle or two further away than I usually do. Somehow I didn’t notice the humongous tent that was nearby. I spotted it returning to the Jeep. I went in. Bosov’s is having a sale. I ended up purchasing a meat cleaver. I saw Bunny there.
12:51 p.m.

I am intrigued by Millville’s wayfinding signs. I have the master document. Someday I will do the tour . . .
13:58 p.m.

We have had ongoing sprinkler problems. It has been so bad, we haven’t used the sprinkler. We thought it was electrical; it turns out we had a bad valve. A little other maintenance and things were back to normal. The front lawn is much appreciative!
16:09 p.m.

Beetle’s Hydrangea is flourishing!
18:16 p.m.

Nothing says June than ice hockey in Jersey.
18:52 p.m.

In the other ice rink were numerous gigantic bouncies, slides, and other inflatables. Beetle had a wonderful time at her friend’s birthday party.
19:27 p.m.

On our way home, Beetle and I popped into the restoration of the Palace of Depression. We were greeted with a guided tour. They are really coming along. This is going to be awesome!
20:12 p.m.

Back to Glasstown Plaza, this time with Beetle. She tossed a penny into the fountain and made a wish. Her wish morphed from being able to marry anyone she wanted (when it is time) to getting everything she wants. I modified that to “for the rest of the day”, which was coming to an end.
20:39 p.m.

Beetle and I were having so much fun we bopped out to Custard Corral for a couple chocolate malteds. We have never seen this place so packed. Parking was difficult. We saw lots of Beetle’s friends there.
Today was a wonderful day! Thanks for enjoying it with me.
